You can now shop and help support the Discovery Eye Foundation (DEF) all at the same time!

Register with Amazon Smile and select DEF as your charity of choice.  And the best part, you only have to do it once!  Currently there seems to be no limit to the amount Amazon will give to charity, although auto-renewed subscription purchases and digital products are not included.

Your registration for your Amazon account will not change and each time you shop, Amazon will automatically donate .05% of your purchases to DEF.  While you may think .05% is not much, it can really add up over time.

Does your company offer to match your donations?

Many employers match their employees’ gifts, with some employers even doubling your contribution. Ask your employer for your company’s matching gift form and submit it to DEF. This is a great way to maximize your gift!

Vision Legacy

Join our Vision Legacy planned giving society. Your membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others. To be eligible for membership you must submit a letter of intent to The Discovery Eye Foundation.

To keep Vision Legacy members well informed about our organization and to show our deepest appreciation, we offer the following benefits:

  • Personalized Certificate of Membership
  • Recognition in the DEF newsletter and annual report, but only with your permission
  • Personal Access to President/Medical Director, Dr. Anthony Nesburn, for medical and health-related issues and personal referrals
