Our first free, day-long symposium happened on October 11th, 2009 at the Skirball Cultural Center.  It  included presentations by leading researchers and clinicians regarding age-related macular degeneration, keratoconus and glaucoma. The Opening Session included an overview of retinal and corneal eye diseases, and recent scientific breakthroughs.
